Nagaland This excursion into the exotic north east region of India brings you to Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland bordering China, Tibet and Bhutan, Assam with its might river Brahmaputra and the fascinating Kaziranga - home of the one horned rhino. Bangladesh and Myanmar lie to its southwest and east. It is a land where myriad tribal cultures flourish and where tea is an industry, handicrafts a major occupation and martial arts a favoured sport. The North East is one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world.

Day 01 : KOLKATA - DELHI - GUWAHATI - TEZPUR Flight/Drive
Arrive Guwahati and drive to Tezpur (Assam) 180 km 5hrs drive. Overnight Camp or Rest house. Accommodation: Tezpur

Day 02 : ITANAGAR - ZIRO
Morning hrs visit museum, emporium and local market after lunch drive to Ziro. Ziro the headquarter of Lower Sabunsiri district of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 1560m, is a plateau surrounded by Apatani tribal villages. Overnight Camp or Rest house. Accommodation: Ziro (Breakfast)

Day 03 : ZIRO - DAPORIJO
(En route visit Apatani villages)
Daporijo is located at an altitude of 600 mtrs is the headquarter of the Upper Subansri district of Arunachal Pradesh and is an inhabitant of Tagin tribe. En route you can have visit of Hillmiri tribal villages at Raga (Nishi, Hillmiri and Tagin tribe are more or less similar in their dialogue. Overnight Camp or Rest house

Day 04 : DAPORIJO - ALONG
Daporijo Located at an altitude of 300m Along the headquarters of west Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh inhabitant of Adi (Gallong) tribes. Adi has different sub tribe which differ from each others like Adi (Gallong, Minyong, Pasi, Padam, Bori, and Boker), if you visit far inside this places you will find all these tribes, but in Along you will find only Adi (Gallong) tribal people. You can have visit of Jirdin, Kabu, Kaying villages, others interesting to see is a hanging bridge on the Siang river, local made of cane and bamboo bridge around 60 to 70m long connecting to the others hill tribes, fishing are the sports for these tribe. Overnight Camp or Rest house.

Day 05 : ALONG / PASIGHAT
Drive from Along to Pasighat . En route visit Adi Gallong tribe. Pasighat the headquarter of East Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh located at an altitude of 150m, inhabitants of Adi(Minyong) tribe. Enroute you can have visit of Pangin tribal villages, all along Siang river, the areas are good for adventure sports like river rafting, angling and trekking. Overnight Camp or Rest house. Accommodation: Pasighat (Breakfast)

Day 06 : PASIGHAT - DIBRUGARH - JORHAT
Crossing river Brahamaputra by country made ferry which take 5 to 6 hrs in the Brahamaputra river to reach Dibrugarh and drive to Jorhat 120km 3hrs. Overnight stay in Hotel or rest house. Accommodation: Jorhat (Breakfast)

Day 07: JORHAT TO MOKOKCHUNG
Arrive Mokokchung.
Overnight Camp or Rest house.
Accommodation: Mokokchung (Breakfast)

Day 08: MOKOKCHUNG
This picturesque town is the cultural center of the Ao tribes of Nagaland, you can have visit to Longkhum a vanguard village in the days of head hunting is situated at an altitude of 1846 metres and is 17km from the Mokokchung town and the village command a beautiful view of the surrounding hills and valley and the Ungma village the oldest and biggest Ao village according to the legend, the early Aos settled after coming from Chungliyimti. This village is many centuries old and can be of great interest to people who have a desire to peep into Ao folklore custom and tradition.

Day 09 : MOKOKCHUNG TO KOHIMA
Mokokchung Kohima the state capital of Nagaland is situated at an altitude of 1444mts a beautiful town wide panorama views, you can have visit to Kohima village (Bara Basti) is the one of the most populous tribal village in Asia,the Khonoma village which is 20Km from the town the villages has its own traditions of valour and courage. The terrace fields, which produce 20 types of paddy at different elevation, present a beautiful view. The Khonoma gate tells the story of the British infiltration into Naga hill. And the IInd World War Cemetery, museum, emporium and local market are the exclusive experience for the new visitors.

Day 10 : KOHIMA
Day at leisure to explore the area and its villages.

Day 11 : KOHIMA - DIMAPUR - KOLKATA - DELHI
Kohima to Dimapur airport 3hrs drive 70km to connect flight for Kolkata / Delhi or in case of cancellation of the flight schedule, because sector is unreliable at any time its changes / cancel the flight.

Day 12 : KOHIMA - TEZPUR 210
Drive to Tezpur. Day is at leisure for independent activities.
Accommodation: Tezpur (Breakfast)

Day 13 : TEZPUR - KAZIRANGA Drive
Drive to Kaziranga. This National park is home to the India one horned rhino and rich in other wildlife such as wild elephants, buffalo, sambar, swamp deer, hoolock gibbon, the wild pig and tiger. Owing to its proximity to the Brahmaputra and the huge water bodies it is an ideal breeding ground for a large number of waterfowl, otters and fresh water dolphins. The vegetation is also quite distinct and has a wonderful mix of tall elephant grasses, thorny rattan cane and evergreen forests. Take an elephant ride into the park for game viewing.

Day 14: KAZIRANGA - GUWAHATI - DELHI
Guwahati airport 4hrs drive 180km to connect flight for Delhi. Overnight hotel
Accommodation: Delhi (Breakfast)

Day 15: DELHI
Day is at leisure. In the evening connect international flight.
