Team Leader
The team leader, Ramesh Nambiar is a 42 years old, energetic, enthusiastic adventure and wildlife enthusiast, with ancestral roots in down south Kerala, was born in Shillong nestled in the beautiful North-east where he went to school at St. Edmund's run by the Irish Brothers. He then moved to the Deccan and graduated from Nizam's College in Hyderabad where many of India's cultural flavors blend. Since completing his Post Graduation from Jawahar Lal Nehru University in Delhi in Geography and submitting his M. Phil dissertation on "River water disputes in South Asia" he had his fill of serious academics. He put an abrupt end mid-way to what he called his 'mediocre academic research' at JNU in Delhi to pursue his lifelong passion for nature and the great outdoors. In 1989 he joined Tiger Tops Mountain Travel - the pioneers in wildlife camps and trekking and trained in various capacities to finally take over in 1992 as the Manager of Ladakh Sarai . Still hooked to wanderlust, he believes there is still so much more to learn in this vast sub-continent and does not miss a chance to look for a new oasis of peace somewhere in the hidden layers of this diverse country.

Having traveled the length and breadth of India, in remote villages and interiors where actually the magic of this country still unfolds, Ramesh felt the desire and need to explore the world. In between his forays into the remotest corners of India, he took on the challenge of heading the Overseas Marketing Division of Travelite (India) a Delhi based company. After 5 successful years he moved on to Indo Asia one of the largest German Inbound operators as their Overseas Marketing Head. During his overseas marketing tenure he traveled widely to many countries in the world for marketing, seminars and trade shows including the emerging new markets in Latin America and the former East Bloc countries.

He speaks English, Hindi, Malayalam, Bengali and French. Ramesh has made Delhi his base for the last seventeen years and actually loves the city many of whose 14 million residents so love to hate!
